New Beginnings

From the depth of despair,

Comes new beginnings.

And when one light burns out,

Another one starts beaming.

When you think you’ve had enough,

Of this life to keep on living.

That’s when you need a miracle,

For you to believe in.

In the midst of the dark,

Do you wake up screaming.

Shaking from the nightmares,

That for month you’ve been dreaming.

Do you stay awake at night,

Listening to the rain falling.

Wondering about what,

Tomorrow will be bringing.

From your window breaks,

The sunlight starts beaming.

A new day has a beginning,

And life …. It just keeps on scheming.
