I’ve seen the world
Or maybe I strive to see it
Perhaps I just glimpsed the world
And all the wonders in it
I never said I traveled the world
Though my passport is stamped of it
Traveling to places around the world
I’ve got the pictures to prove it
But really seeing the world
Involved … being a part of it
I’d like to be a person of the world
But a local of a country can’t be it
